Class room teaching comprises of 60 credits and covers all the aspects of rural development and management. The course curricula are designed in such a way that there is a wonderful fusion of theoretical knowledge, practical experience and exposures. 

It is an extraordinary task assigned to students to study minutely the socio-economic aspects, political environment, administrative structure, demographic profile, livelihood pattern, employment scenario, infrastructure, culture, history and various other aspects of rural society. 

To make students sensitize towards rural communities and issues at grass root level, research portfolio has been designed with 08 credits. Here, students are encouraged to conduct research and dissertation on various issues prevailing in the rural segment. 

It is a golden opportunity for the students to be connected with various reputed corporate houses, rural business enterprises, government departments, cooperatives and NGOs for managerial institutional internship for three months. 

Innovative teaching-learning techniques for the holistic development of students have been employed by joining hands with various organisations working in various fields of sustainable rural development. Out of 08 innovative modules, students can opt for any four according to their choice.

Four Skill Development Modules are designed especially to empower the students in the field of communication skills, computerized accounting system, computerized application of research tools and project proposal skills. Students are provided with ample opportunities to develop own skills through the course.

"Gramjivan Padyatra" on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti all the students and teachers visit 4 different villages for 4 days and experience the village life. During their visit in each village, students try to bring awareness among villagers for cleanliness, literacy, addiction and advantage of village assembly, etc.

Life skill development is being given very much importance in overall development of the students. Hence, they are made well trained to face all the challenges and to grab all the opportunities of life.
