»  The Gujarat Vidyapith Rural Management Alumni Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to collaborate and support all past and current students of the Department of Rural Management.

»  The Centre has taken an initiative to form an association of all former students. It is aimed to keep in touch with each other and make meaningful interaction for the benefit of the present as well as future generation of the csrm group.

»  Our goal is to promote and support this association to strengthen the rural development-extension activities at grass-root level. In future, we will be able to get feedback and utilize it to inspire and motivate the work environment for the development of academic programme every year.

Dr. Bharat Patel

Dr. Bharat Patel works as a Senior Program Manager with the CPR-Namati Environmental Justice Program in Gujarat.He has worked to mobilise and raise the voices of fishing communities against coastal industrialization, and has fought for their rights in local courts as well as through international advocacy. He has conceptualized and implemented the first direct marketing system for fisherfolk in India (Mundra, Gujarat).

DR. MUKESHCHANDRA CHAVDA

Dr. Mukeshchandra Chavda, a highly experienced professional in the field of Social Development as well as Disaster & Emergency Management. He has worked in Disaster Risk Management Project of UNDP India & GSDMA. Presently, he is serving as a Head of Operations in 108 Emergency Ambulance Services of GVK Emergency Management & Research Institute.

Dr. Rajivbhai Patel

Dr. Rajiv Patel, Ph. D. Professor, Centre for Studies in Rural Management, Gujarat Vidyapith. He has been teaching for more than 27 years at Gujarat Vidyapith. He specializes in Rural Management. Over the years he has taught diverse courses such as "Research Methodology", "Marketing Management", "Fields of Rural Development", "Organic Farming etc. He has been instrumental in designing courses at B.R.S and M.B.A. level such as "Research Methodology", "Marketing Management", "Fields of Rural Development", "Organic Farming etc. He is working as Committee member at University level such as Academic Council, Executive Council, Building Committee, Gram- Seva Committee, etc. He has 05 research projects to his credit.

Samarth Dave

Samarth Dave is lead teacher for extended courses & Short term courses at Exhale Yoga School, 2800+ successful yoga teachers teaching Overseas n 1450+ in India. 500+ foreigners studied at Exhale for Yoga courses. They r In countries like USA Europe Australia Canada n middle East. 1280+ doctors got certified from Exhale. Our teachers own the Studios in India & Foreign countries They are working in Hospitals, corporates, Yoga Studios also doing Yoga Retreats. Even they hold Yoga teacher training courses like us in many countries.
