Sonipur


Sonipur is the smallest village of the Gandhinagar district in Gujarat. It is located 10km west of the city Gandhinagar. Kolavada, Sardhav, and Rupal are the neighbour villages of Sonipur. There are only four castes in Sonipur : Prajapati, Thakor, Patel, and Dantani. According to the government register, the village code of Sonipur is 511250. The village has 426 homes.

According to Census 2011, Sonipur's population is 2135. Out of this, 1097 are males while the females count 1038 here. This village has 293 kids in the age group of 0-6 years. Out of this 152 are boys and 141 are girls.
